Congratulations to the following

Shooting Stars to compete in Branson!
The Shooting Stars Junior (ages 7-14) and Tiny Teams (ages 3-5) will
compete the weekend of October 27th in Branson, MO to kick off our competitive season. Our first in state competition will
be November 10th in Hot Springs at Jamfest. This is a fun competition - come out and see our STARS perform!

Fall classes have begun and we have waiting lists for several of them. If you are interested
in Saturday classes please call the gym.We will add a few additional classes during the week and then on Saturdays to accomodate
those we can not fit into the week night schedules. We have classes currently Sunday through Thursday.

SHOOTING STARS ROCK STEPHEN CENTER!
The Shooting Stars competed in the Arkansas State All Star Cheer
Competition Saturday, March 10th at the Stephens Center on the campus of UALR. Malvern finished 2nd in the Small Junior level
2 division in their first year of competiting and Arkadelphia finished 2nd in the Small Senior level 3 division!
In individual competition Jordy Beth Beard placed 7th in the Junior Prep Division and Jeni Turner won the Junior Arkansas
All Star Best Cheerleader! Woo Hoo - Stars has a State Champion!! Congratulations to everyone!

Holiday Closing
We will be closed for regular classes from December 18th until January
8th. Some competitive classes will meet. They will be notified by their coach.

Competition Teams
The Shooting Stars Competitive Cheer teams from Malvern and Arkadelphia
will be competiting in their first event this year on Saturday, Nov. 11th in Hot Springs at the Summit. The Stars Competitive Gymnastics Team from Malvern and Arkadelphia will begin their
season the following Saturday in Sheridan. Our dance competition
season does not begin until January! We hope everyone
will come out and support the girls! They have worked very hard and are very excited to get started! Stars Rock!!!

Teacher News
Congratulations to Spenser Stewart, one of our gymnastics teachers for her selection as Arkansas'
Next Top Model! We always knew she was beautiful....now all of Arkansas does! Knock em' dead in NY girl.
Our own hip hop instructor, Derrick Sims is currently in North Arkansas working as a production assisitant
on a new movie starring Bryan Dennehey. Most of you know that Derrick did the video and editing for our recital this year
and did a great job! We are proud of you, Derrick!
